About Hawaii Tropical Flower & Foliage Association

Hawaii Tropical Flowers & Foliage Association (HTFFA)-Kauai is the principal flower organization on Kauai, consisting primarily of commercial tropical flower and foliage growers/producers and shippers, who market their products through various venues.

These venues include: Internet based, high-value gift boxes, orchids, flowering plants, foliage and potted plant sales. Other growers market orchids, flowering plants, potted foliage plants & tropical flowers through local commercial shops & nursery outlets.

HTFFA members supply floral arrangements & plants for hotels, restaurants, businesses, private residences, special events (weddings, parties, and funerals), and bouquet sales through retail outlets, florists and Farmer's Markets.

HTFFA- Kauai Chapter also promotes the floral and tourist industry through community events, such as Kauai County Farm Fair, Agricultural Awareness Day, the Spring Garden Fair, and is a member of the statewide floral associations, such as Hawaii Tropical Flower Council, Hawaii Florists & Shippers Association and Hawaii Floriculture & Nursery Association.

Mission Statement

The purpose of this organization is to represent and advance the economic interests of the tropical flower and foliage industry, as well as enthusiasts, through education, information, plant material and technology transfer; to foster and promote a greater appreciation of tropical ornamentals; and to cultivate fellowship and friendship.
